Mr. Patrick Brosnan
Executive Director, Brighton Park Neighborhood Council
Patrick Brosnan has worked at BPNC since 1999 and is the Executive Director. Patrick has been involved in organizing various campaigns for social justice and policy change. One of his main priorities is to expand BPNC's capacity to organize effective campaigns for education justice on the local, state, and national level. This includes working with school leaders to develop full-service community schools, organizing campaigns to increase resources for full-service community schools in our State, supporting youth leaders in their campaigns to end the school to prison pipeline, and working with partners to increase sustainable support services for students and parents in public schools in Brighton Park and throughout Chicago. Patrick is a member of the Boards of Directors of the Federation for Community Schools, the Grassroots Collaborative, and the Rebuilding Exchange. BPNC is also a member of the national ESEA re-authorization coalitions, Alliance for Educational Justice and Communities for Excellent Public Schools.
