Eunice Smith
Executive Director, Northwest Neighborhood Federation
Smith was a bilingual Chicago Public School teacher for seven years, teaching 2nd, 5th and 6th grades. After leaving CPS, she coordinated after school programming at the Northwest Neighborhood Federation. She built a parent/education committee where she worked closely with parents to provide CPS students with opportunities they normally wouldn't have like karate and drama lessons Smith continues to work with parents, LSC members and community residents to bring improvements to their schools. She is the mother of five children; her oldest child is 14-years-old and her youngest is eight weeks.
