Christopher Mazzeo
Associate Director for Policy and Outreach, Consortium on Chicago School Research

Prior to joining the Consortium, Chris was an independent education policy consultant whose clients included MDRC, The Joyce Foundation, the Center for American Progress and the Brookings Institution, where he co-authored the 2009 report "Transforming America’s Community Colleges:
A Federal Policy Proposal to Expand Opportunity and Promote Economic Prosperity." From 2001-2004, Mazzeo served as a senior policy analyst in the Education Division of the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices, where he worked on both secondary and post-secondary policy issues and co-directed the division’s work on school improvement and accountability. He earned his AB from Columbia University in History and his Ph.D. in Social Sciences, Policy and Educational Practice from Stanford University in 2001.
